Traumatic Femoral Arteriovenous Fistula and Flase Aneurysm

Abstract
|
|
|
Two cases of atriovenous fistula with fals aneurysm in the femoral artery which was caused by
shrapnel and shell fragments treated in Kwang Ju tri service Hospital during the period from 107- to
1971, were reviewed.
In first cases, a false aneurysm alon was developed to entire right anterior femur and fistula of femoral
artery was repaired by simple closure.
In other a case, who had a atribenous fistula and false aneurysm with positive Branham-Nicolandoni´s
sign, the fistula of left femoral artery and vein were repaired also by simple closure.
After operation, good pulsation of dorsal arteries of foots and the postoperative course were uneventful.
